Approach

My work sits between editorial and documentary. I photograph the grand moments of a wedding day and the quiet in-between ones with the same attention, so a gallery reads like the day actually felt rather than a list of things that happened.

On the day itself I am a calm presence. I guide gently where guidance helps, step back where it does not, and work closely with planners and the rest of the creative team so nothing about the photography feels like an interruption.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets real attention. Collections are built around your day and include a complimentary engagement session, a second photographer, planning support, and a curated gallery with heirloom albums.

Based in Kansas City, photographing throughout the Midwest and travelling for destination weddings worldwide. Engagements, senior portraits and headshots are photographed in the same style.
